Sturgis 2010 Dates
For 2010 the Sturgis 2010 dates are August 9 through August 15. However Sturgis is not really strictly tied to these dates. Folks come and go to and from the Sturgis Rally anywhere between July 25 and sometimes stay as late as August 15. Myself usually I drive in on the day before Sturgis really starts so say August 8, then I enjoy myself for a couple days and head out mid to late in the week. As the dates go later you'll find that Sturgis becomes more and more crowded. Many of the top bands play late in the week so your particular Sturgis 2010 dates are likely driven by your schedule, tolerance of crowds and what concerts and events you plan to attend. Many Sturgis campgrounds like give you the opportunity to attend any dates you wish by selling a wristband that goes from July 27 to August 15, so for a flat fee you don't have to worry about scheduling your Sturgis dates with the campground. You can take a two week vacation if you wish for just $140 for camping. |
